How to add a sender to your safe sender list via outlook




If you are using the web browser version please follow this guide belowIf you are using the outlook application, please see the next section.


Web version:

  1. Access your emails via the outlook portal (https://outlook.office.com/mail/)
  1. Find an email from the sender you would like to add, they will typically be found in the inbox folder, although they may be sent to the junk folder if the system detects the email as potentially harmful or spam.
  2. Once you have found an email from the sender you would like to add click on the “3 dots icon” on the right side of the email header

  1. Select “add to safe senders”
  1.  
  1. Click “OK” on the pop-u​p

If you are using the outlook application:


  1. Access your emails via the outlook application via desktop icon or searching in the windows taskbar for outlook
  1. Find an email from the sender you would like to add, they will typically be found in the inbox folder, although they may be sent to the junk folder if the system detects the email as potentially harmful or spam.
  2. Once you have found an email from the sender you would like to add click on the on the email
  3. Under the “Home” tab click on the “junk” icon
  1. Now select “never block sender” 
  1. Click on “OK” at the pop-up
